(Shutterstock)PLAINFIELD, IL — Nine sixth-grade students from Ira Jones Middle School are heading to Peoria Jan. 28 to perform in the Illinois Music Education Association Elementary All-State Chorus.The chorus is made up entirely of sixth graders nominated by their professors. At Ira Jones, Karen Blair is the choir director. Before the students perform Jan. 28, they will rehearse the show, which will take place at the Peoria Civic Center.
